Akın Akınözü, 1990 yılında Ankara’da doğmuştur. Los Angeles General Studies, UC Berkeley Applied Math alanında eğitimini tamamlayıp, oyunculuk üzerine eğitim almıştır. 2014 yılında Azrail sinema filmi ile kariyerine adım atmıştır. 2015 yılında ise Muhteşem Yüzyıl dizisi ile ilk kez televizyon ekranlarında boy göstermiş daha sonra ise Arkadaşlar İyidir dizisinde rol almıştır. Trt ekranlarında yayınlana; başrolü Özlem Conker, Bülent İnal ve Ezgi Eyüboğlu ile paylaştığı Payitaht Abdülhamid dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Ömer karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
