Aliye Uzunatağan, 1951 yılında Çanakkale’de doğmuştur. İstanbul Belediyesi Konservatuarı’nda eğitimini tamamlamıştır. Ayrıca yurt dışında da oyunculuk eğitimi alan usta oyuncu Aliye Uzunatağan, Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi’nin kurucularındadndır. 1969 yılında Sen Bir Meleksin sinema filmi ile kariyerine adım atmış, birçok sinema filminde rol almıştır. Ruhumun Aynası, Huzurum Kalmadı, Unutulmaz, Belalı Baldız, Kara Melek, Böyle mi Olacaktı rol aldığı bazı dizilerdendir. Star Tv ekranlarında yayınlanan; başrolü Engin Öztürk ve Hazar Ergüçlü’nün paylaştığı Yüksek Sosyete dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Bedia karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
