Asena Tuğal, 1984 yılında İstanbul'da doğmuştur. Eğitimini Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Matematik ve Sosyal Bilimler Akademisi'nde tamamlamıştır. Asena Tuğal; TGRT, Kanal D, Show Tv'de haber muhabirliği yapmış ve 2006 yılında Miss Turkey yarışmasında dördüncü, Miss İnternational yarışmasında ise Miss Smile ödülünü almıştır. 2010 yılında Ömre Bedel dizisi ile ilk oyunculuk deneyimini yaşayan Asena Tuğal; Kertenkele, Filinta, Şeref Meselesi, Aldırma Gönül, Tozlu Yollar ve Öğretmen Kemal dizilerinde rol almıştır. Trt ekranlarında yayınlanan Lise Devriyesi dizisinde Mehmet Ozan Dolunay, İsmail Ege Şaşmaz, Bahar Şahin ve Doğan Akdoğan ile birlikte başrolü paylaşmakta ve Seda karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
