Erkan Sever, 1974 yılında İzmir’de doğmuştur. Eğitimini Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Oyunculuk Bölümü’nde tamamlamıştır. İstanbul ve İzmir Şehir Tiyatrosu’nda kadrolu olarak görev yapan Erkan Sever, 1998 yılında oyunculuğa adım atmıştır. Hayat Mucizelere Gebe, Güzel Köylü, Mühürlü, Güller, Ezo Gelin gibi diziler de rol almıştır. Show Tv ekranlarında yayınlanan, başrolü Erdal Özyağcılar, Yılmaz Kunt, Aslı Bekiroğlu ve Seray Kaya ile paylaştığı Gülümse Yeter dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Lütfü karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
