Esra Ruşan, 1983 yılında Kars'ta doğmuştur. Eğitimini Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Tiyatro Bölümü'nde tamamlamıştır. İlk oyunculuk deneyimini 2006 yılında rol aldığı Arka Sokaklar dizisi ile yaşamış; Kurtlar Vadisi Terör, Aşk Yakar, Ustura Kemal, Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, Atiye gibi diziler de rol almıştır. Şimdiler de ise Trt ekranlarında yayınlanan; kadrosunda Ezgi Mola, Merve Dizdar, Birkan Sokullu, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Alper Saldıran, Metin Coşkun, Atilla Şendil, Emir Özden, Uğur Uzunel gibi isimlerin yer aldığı Masumlar Apartmanı dizisinde Esra karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
