Güneş Hayat, 1964 yılında Ankara’da doğmuştur. Eğitimini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuarı’nda tamamlamıştır. Ankara, Trabzon ve Diyarbakır Devlet Tiyatroları’nda görev yapmış ve halen İstanbul Devlet Tiyatrosu’nda görevine devaö etmektedir. Gülpare dizisi ile televizyon dünyasına adım atmış; Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün, Çalıkuşu, Son, Alev Alev, Ay Tutulması ve Masumlar dizilerinde rol almıştır. Kanal D ekranlarında yayınlanan; başrolü Erdal Beşikçioğlu, Gökçe Bahadır ve Rojda Demirer’in paylaştığı Adı Efsane dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Kevser karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
