Hülya Gülşen Irmak, 1965 yılında Ankara’da doğmuştur. Eğitimini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tiyatro Bölümü’nde tamamlamıştır. Halen Devlet Tiyatroları’nda görev yapmakta olan oyuncu, 1993 yılında rol aldığı Ferhunde Hanımlar dizisi ile ilk oyunculuk deneyimini yaşamıştır. Bizim Evin Halleri,Keşanlı Ali Destanı, Galip Derviş, Çalıkuşu ve Asla Vazgeçmem dizilerinde rol almıştır. Star Tv ekranlarında yayınlanan; başrolü Engin Öztürk ve Hazar Ergüçlü’nün paylaştığı Yüksek Sosyete dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Ayşen karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
