Miray Akay, 2000 yılında Ukrayna'da doğmuştur. Eğitimine Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi'nde devam etmektedir. 2014 yılında Balık adlı sinema filmi ile ilk oyunculuk deneyimini yaşayan genç oyuncu; Halam Geldi, Eve Dönüş: Sarıkamış 1915 ve Kelebeğin Rüyası filmlerinde rol almıştır. 2010 yılında ise Bitmeyen Şarkı dizisinde rol almış; Güneşin Kızları, Benim Adım Gültepe ve 20 Dakika dizilerinde oynamıştır. Fox Tv'de yayınlanan; başrolü Cansel Elçin ve Ece Uslu'nun paylaştığı Dayan Yüreğim dizisinde rol almakta ve Nazlı karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
