Özgür Ozan, 1966 yılında Bolu'da doğmuştur. Eğitimini Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Oyunculuk Bölümü'nde tamamlamıştır. Özgür Ozan, İzmir Devlet Tiyatrosu, İzmir Çocuk Tiyatrosu ve Uluslararası Tiyatro Topluluğu'nda görev aldı. 1984 yılında oyunculuk kadriyerini devam ettiren oyuncu, 2002 yılında Selami karakterini canlandırdığı Çocuklar Duymasın dizisi ile tanınmaktadır ve kariyerinde önemli bir çıkış yapmıştır. 2006 yılından bu yana Kanal D ekranlarında yayınlanan Arka Sokaklar dizisinde rol almaktadır ve Hüsnü Çoban karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
