Sinem Karel Gürtekin, 1994 yılında Mersin’de doğmuştur. Eğitimini Nişantaşı Üniversitesi Medya Bölümü’nde tamamlamıştır. Oyunculuğa adım atmadan önce Kral Tv ve Show Tv gibi kanallarda sunuculuk yapan güzel oyuncu Sinem Karel Gürtekin; ilk oyunculuk deneyimini 2011 yılında rol aldığı Yalan Dünya dizisi ile yaşamış daha sonra ise Mayıs Kraliçesi dizisinde rol almıştır. Atv ekranlarında yayınlanan; başrolü Deniz Bolışık, Ahmet Varlı, Melis Tüzüngüç, Ümit Kantarcılar ve Fatih Al’ın paylaştığı Kanatsız Kuşlar dizisinin kadrosunda yer almakta ve Emel karakterini canlandırmaktadır.
