Gül Gölge Saygı was born in İzmir in 1981.

She completed her education by studying Film and Television Programming at the Faculty of Communication of Bilgi University.

In 1997 she took part in the Turkey Beauty Pageant and was among the finalists.

She appeared in the series Acemi Cadı, Yapayalnız and Köpek.

In 2009 she stepped into the world of cinema by appearing in the feature film Mezuniyet.

Gül Gölge Saygı hosted the programme Canlı Canlı, broadcast on Kanal D in 2005.

She serves as a jury member on the competition programme Gardırop Savaşları.

In 2007 she married Murat Saygı, Vice Chairman of Doğan Yayın Holding; she has two sons named Ali and Emir.
