Abdulaziz Solmaz — Biography
Abdulaziz Solmaz (born 7 August 1988 in Araklı, Trabzon) is a Turkish former international footballer. Standing 1.76 m tall, he made his Süper Lig debut on 24 January 2009.
Over his career he played for a number of Turkish clubs, including Sakaryaspor in 2021; he ended his playing days at Kastamonuspor 1966 and announced his retirement from football in June 2024.
In July 2026 Solmaz was appointed sporting director of Kahramanmaraş İstiklalspor, declaring that he aimed to build a side that fights and wins on the pitch.
