Abdullah Ercan — Biography
Abdullah Ercan (born 8 December 1971 in Istanbul) is a Turkish football coach and former international player. During his playing career he operated as a left-back and defensive midfielder.
Between 1993 and 2003 he won 71 caps for Turkey and was part of the squad that finished third at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
After retiring he moved into coaching and took charge of Turkey's under-21 national team. In recent years he has been a regular presence in Turkish sports media as a columnist and television pundit.
