Ahmet Özcan — Biography
Ahmet Özcan, whose full name is given as Ahmet Alper Özcan, is a Swiss-born footballer of Turkish descent who plays as a centre-back. He was born on 7 March 1995 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and most sources describe him as holding dual Swiss and Turkish citizenship.
He began his career with his home-city club Lausanne-Sport, making his professional debut in the Swiss Super League on 7 December 2013 in a 4-0 defeat to FC Zürich. In 2014 he moved to Turkey to join Kayserispor, where he featured only for the youth team, before a brief spell at Gençlerbirliği. He returned to Lausanne-Sport in July 2023, signing for the club's reserve side.
At international level, Özcan represented Switzerland at under-19 youth level.
