Ahu Tuğba — Biography
Ahu Tuğba (born Tuğba Çetin; 13 August 1955, Istanbul – 1 September 2024, Miami) was a Turkish film actress of Albanian descent. The only child of a wealthy family, she entered the film world while still in high school.
After graduating from Robert College she was admitted to the English Language department at Concordia University in Canada, but left her studies unfinished because of her passion for acting. Her career stretched from the early 1970s to the 2000s, and in the 1980s she became one of the most prominent stars of Turkish cinema.
She was known for films such as Dokunmayın Şabanıma (1979), Banker Bilo (1980), Zifaf and Taçsız Kraliçe (1984). She died on 1 September 2024 in Miami.
