Ali Zorlu — Biography

Ali Zorlu was born on February 18, 1990, in Giresun, Turkey. He took up football in the youth ranks of İl Özel İdaresi Spor Kulübü, an amateur club in his hometown, before moving into Giresunspor's youth academy. He signed a professional contract with the club in 2008 and made his official debut on November 22, 2009, in a 1. Lig match against Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor, after which he began getting regular playing time.

Over the course of his career, Zorlu played in the lower divisions for several clubs, including Adanaspor and Samsunspor, which he joined in the summer of 2014, as well as Giresunspor, Gümüşhanespor, and Silivrispor. Later in his career he spent a period back in amateur football before joining Pirazizspor, a district-level club from his native Giresun province.
