Alican Aytekin — Biography

Alican Aytekin was born in Istanbul on 20 October 1990. After graduating from the TV Journalism and Programming Department of İstanbul Bilgi University, he trained as an actor at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center before moving in front of the camera.

He began his acting career with the 2013 series Bizim Okul and later appeared in the series Gölgedekiler. In 2017 he reached a wide audience playing İlhan in the Star TV series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler.

He went on to appear in the film Her Şey Aşk'tan and in the widely watched series Sen Çal Kapımı, where he played the character Seyfi Çiçek. In a 2020 interview, he said he had consciously chosen acting, joking that otherwise he might have become a civil servant.
