Anıl Piyancı — Biography

Anıl Piyancı was born on 17 July 1990 in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir and later graduated in International Relations from Anadolu University. He discovered a pull toward rap and hip-hop as early as thirteen or fourteen, wrote his earliest lyrics around that age, cut his first recording at fourteen, and built his own hip-hop studio by sixteen. In 2012 he entered the talent show Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye alongside fellow rapper Grogi, though the pair were eliminated in the second round; he kept building a name in the underground rap scene regardless, releasing his first official album, Zaman Yok, in 2013.

A track he posted on YouTube in 2014 brought him a much wider following, and he went on to appear on joint tracks with artists such as Ezhel, DJ Artz and Allame. His 2019 acoustic duet with Zeynep Bastık became one of that summer's most-streamed songs, and he also wrote music for advertising campaigns that year. In 2020 he received a music award and signed with Universal Müzik Yapım. He was a guest on Red Bull's 64 Bars project in 2022, released the album Paradigma in 2025, and continues to perform at festivals around İzmir.
