Atakan Karazor — Biography
Born in Essen (October 13, 1996) and holding both German and Turkish citizenship, Atakan Karazor is a 1.91-meter-tall defensive midfielder. He began his professional career with Borussia Dortmund's reserve side before spending two seasons with Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga.
He moved to VfB Stuttgart in 2019, helping the club win promotion to the Bundesliga in his debut season there and eventually rising to become team captain. Although born in Germany, Karazor chose to represent Turkey internationally, and in early 2026 he stated publicly that the national team has what it takes to qualify for the World Cup.
