Attila Olgaç — Biography
Born on 28 July 1944 in Ankara, Attila Olgaç is the son of Kahraman Olgaç, the first president of Turkey's chess federation, and built his career on the stage before moving into film and television. After graduating from the theatre department of the Ankara State Conservatory, he made his professional debut in 1969 with the Ankara State Theatre production of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," going on to appear in works ranging from Shakespeare to Anouilh over the following decades.
He is best known to television audiences for playing the character Kılıç in the long-running series Kurtlar Vadisi, and has occasionally shared behind-the-scenes recollections about cast members' decisions to leave the show during its run. He also played Feyzullah in Vay Anam Vay. Olgaç has continued to take on film and television roles in recent years, drawing renewed public attention when he returned to acting projects in 2025.
