Attila Şekerlioğlu — Biography

Attila Şekerlioğlu was born on 27 January 1965 in Vienna to a Turkish father and an Austrian mother, making him one of the first professional footballers of Turkish descent to play in Austria. A midfielder, he spent much of his playing career with Austria Wien, where he won the Austrian championship three times, the ÖFB Cup three times, and the Austrian Supercup on four occasions.

After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, most recently managing the Austrian club SV Stockerau, and he is known to have later taken on a scouting role for Bayern Munich.
