Ayfer Topluoğlu — Biography

Ayfer Topluoğlu (born 31 January 1977 in Çatalca, Istanbul Province) is a Turkish former women's football goalkeeper and manager.

She kept goal for the Turkey women's national team between 1995 and 2003, in the first generation of the country's women's game, and later moved into coaching; Google's Knowledge Graph describes her as a Turkish association football manager.

In a 2021 interview with Fanatik she said the taboo of asking whether women can play football had still not been broken in Turkey. Wikidata additionally lists her as a basketball player, a claim no other source in the record supports.
