Ayhan Tuna Üzümcü — Biography

Ayhan Tuna Üzümcü (born 6 August 1982 in İzmir) is a Turkish former footballer, manager and club official who played as a centre-back and left-back.

After retiring as a player he took on administrative and technical roles. In January 2022 he was appointed sporting director of Altay, the club of his home city; in 2023 he served as the team's head coach, was retained at the end of the season and set out the side's targets for the new campaign. He resigned in September 2023, saying the mistake and the responsibility were both his.

He was linked with Altay again in May 2025 and was reported ready to take up the role, but in July that year Turkish outlets reported that he had stepped away before starting.
