Ayşe Çora — Biography
Ayşe Cora Yamaner is a Turkish national basketball player born on 3 March 1993 in Kadıköy. Standing 1.75 m tall, she plays as a scoring guard and currently wears the Galatasaray jersey.
She began her career in the youth ranks of Migrosspor and moved to Beşiktaş once that club closed down, competing there in the Turkish Women's Basketball League and the EuroCup Women. She first signed with Galatasaray in 2011, later played for Edirnespor and then Beşiktaş again, before transferring to Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2016, where she renewed her contract more than once. After a stint at BOTAŞ starting in 2020, she returned to Galatasaray in 2024, has captained the team since the 2024-25 season, and signed a new contract with the club in May 2025.
An injury put her in the headlines in March 2026, and by April 2026 she was speaking about tough matches in European competition, continuing her playing career.
