Ayşe Tezel — Biography

Ayşe Tezel (born 19 September 1980, London) is a British-Turkish actress and voice-over artist based in New Zealand.

She made her acting debut in two episodes of the New Zealand television series Shortland Street in April 2002, and went on to appear in television series and feature films shot in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia. She is best known for Meet Me in Miami (2005), Court of Lonely Royals (2007), Sione's 2: Unfinished Business and her role as Canthara in Spartacus.

After several years away from film and television, she returned to Shortland Street in July 2021, playing a different character from her 2002 appearance.
