Aziza A. — Biography
Aziza A., born Alev Azize Yıldırım in Berlin in 1971 to parents of Turkish origin, is regarded as one of the pioneers of Turkish-German hip-hop culture. She is known professionally as a rapper, DJ, actress and presenter.
Recognized as one of the first female performers of Turkish-language rap, Aziza A. has also appeared on screen, with film credits including Lola and Billy the Kid (1999) and Offside (2005). Alongside her music career, she has worked as a host on radio and television programs.
