Bahar Öztürk — Biography
Bahar Öztürk, born Barbara Renee Turner on June 8, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio, is a retired American-Turkish basketball player. Selected by the Seattle Storm in the first round of the 2006 WNBA draft, she later played in Turkey's Women's Basketball Super League for clubs such as Botaş Adana, Galatasaray Odeabank, and Hatay Büyükşehir Belediyespor, acquiring Turkish citizenship along the way and adopting the name Bahar Öztürk.
After retiring as a player, she moved into coaching, serving as an assistant coach for the NBA's Houston Rockets and later for the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League. Standing 1.83 meters tall, she attended East Technical High School.
