Barış Yardımcı — Biography

Barış Yardımcı is a right back born in the Malazgirt district of Muş, whose steady play took him from the lower leagues to the Süper Lig and the senior national team. He spent a long spell at Bursaspor, made his Turkey debut in a 2-0 friendly defeat to Romania on 9 November 2017, and after leaving Konyaspor moved to Ankara Keçiörengücü.

He started playing in 2003 at Dudulluspor and passed through the academies of Kartalspor, Fenerbahçe and, in 2010, Kasımpaşa. In 2011 he joined Hatayspor for a training fee and played 29 league matches in his first season. He was loaned to Menemen Belediyespor in 2012-13, played 31 matches, drew the interest of top-flight clubs and returned to Hatayspor. In 2013-14 he made 36 appearances, helped the team reach the play-offs and was picked for the 2. Lig team of the season. With offers from Eskişehirspor, Balıkesirspor, Kasımpaşa and Gaziantepspor, in the 2014-15 transfer window he signed a four-year deal with Gaziantepspor, then coached by Okan Buruk.

In the summer of 2017 he agreed a three-year contract with Bursaspor and stayed there until 2019. He moved to Sivasspor in September 2019, joined Konyaspor on a year-and-a-half deal in January 2021 and renewed in 2022. He and Konyaspor parted ways in February 2023, and in March 2023 he agreed terms with Ankara Keçiörengücü.
