Ben Fero — Biography

Born Ferhat Yılmaz, Ben Fero was born on February 25, 1991, in Bonn, Germany, and studied business administration at Anadolu University. His interest in rap began at age eight after listening to 2Pac, and for a time he was also an amateur basketball player.

He first drew attention with the track Mahallemiz Esmer, then reached a much wider audience with the music video for Babafingo. His song featuring Demet Akalın, who also appeared in the accompanying video, became one of his most talked-about releases and helped establish him as a recognized name in Turkish rap.

After spending some time out of the public eye, Ben Fero returned to the spotlight in July 2026 when a photo of him began circulating on social media.
