Burak Serdar Şanal — Biography

Burak Serdar Şanal was born on 28 August 1988 in Istanbul. He studied acting in the Drama Department of Marmara University.

Şanal began his acting career in 2008 with the series Bahar Dalları, appearing the same year in Küçük Kadınlar and Peri Masalı, and in 2011 in Avrupa Avrupa and Dinle Sevgili. He became widely known in 2014 as Radyocu İsmail in Yeşil Deniz, and in 2015 he played Bernardo in the feature film Tut Sözünü. In 2017 he portrayed Murat in the ATV series İkisini de Sevdim.

In early 2026 he made headlines with his upcoming marriage to Ayça Ongül, and after undergoing surgery in February 2026 he issued a statement about his health. In March 2026, following Alperen Duymaz's departure from the project, he became the new lead actor of the TRT series Cennetin Çocukları.
