Buse Terim — Biography

Buse Terim Bahçekapılı is a Turkish fashion designer and fashion blogger, born in Istanbul in August 1990, and the daughter of former national-team football manager Fatih Terim. After graduating from Yüzyıl Işık Lisesi she moved to New York to study fashion marketing and management at the Fashion Institute of Technology, interning during her studies at houses including Ralph Lauren, Elle magazine, Dolce&Gabbana and Burberry.

Back in Istanbul, she turned the fashion blog she had begun as a student into a full-time pursuit, following major fashion weeks abroad and publishing her observations on her own site, buseterim.com.tr. She went on to gain more than a million followers on Instagram and produced her own YouTube show, becoming one of Turkey's recognized fashion content creators.

Terim's wedding to businessman Volkan Bahçekapılı, originally planned for 16 May 2014, was postponed by the Soma mining disaster and held instead on 6 June 2014. The couple announced they were expecting a child in the second year of their marriage.
