Çağan Efe Ak — Biography

Çağan Efe Ak is a young Turkish actor who began acting in commercials as a child and became widely known in 2026 for playing Aras Öztürk in the series Daha 17. He had earlier taken his first lead role in TRT 1's fantasy-adventure series Tozkoparan İskender.

Born in Istanbul, Ak first appeared on camera in LC Waikiki and Vodafone commercials. His first acting job was as Latif in the film Bir Gün Bir Çocuk; in 2016 he made his television debut as Prince Murad in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. The same year he played the childhood of the character Sarp in İçerde and appeared in the children's cast of BKM's Güldüy Güldüy Show. In 2018 he took roles in the films Ailecek Şaşkınız and Deliler: Fatih'in Fermanı, and he has also done voice work.

His first lead role came with Tozkoparan İskender, broadcast in 2021-2022, and he also appeared in the series Deha. In a June 2026 interview he said he would do what he could and leave the rest to fate; in May 2026 he said he shares similarities with his character Aras. He is interested in the sport of aikido.
