Can Bonomo — Biography
Can Bonomo (born 16 May 1987 in İzmir) is a Turkish singer-songwriter and actor of Sephardic Jewish descent. He began playing guitar at the age of eight and studied cinema and television at Istanbul Bilgi University; during his student years he hosted "Can Bonomo Show" on radio stations such as Number 1 FM and later presented "Rock'n Dark Express" on MTV Turkey.
His debut album "Meczup", produced by Can Saban, was released in January 2011. In 2012 he represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku with the song "Love Me Back", finishing seventh in the final — to date Turkey's last participation in the contest. As an actor he took the lead role in the series "+18". He married actress Öykü Karayel in 2018.
