Can Uzun — Biography
Can Yılmaz Uzun (born 11 November 2005 in Regensburg) is a footballer who holds both Turkish and German citizenship and plays as an attacking midfielder. Standing 1.86 m tall, he has played for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt since July 2024, and holds several age records with both Eintracht Frankfurt and his earlier club 1. FC Nürnberg, including being the youngest goalscorer in each club’s professional history.
Having come through Turkey’s under-17 and under-18 national teams, Uzun has since been capped by the senior Turkey national team. In the summer of 2026 he became a prominent subject in the Turkish press amid strong transfer interest from Galatasaray, with reports of ongoing negotiations and rising offers between the two clubs.
