Candan Dumanlı — Biography
Candan Dumanlı (7 January 1939, Kayseri – 26 February 2026) was a Turkish football winger who later became a coach. After completing his playing career, he built his reputation primarily around MKE Ankaragücü, where fans and the club's community remember him as one of its historic figures.
Following his playing days, Dumanlı moved into coaching and led several Anatolian clubs over the years. He managed Eskişehirspor on three separate occasions and also served as head coach of Malatyaspor, making him a familiar figure among Turkey's provincial football clubs.
Dumanlı died on 26 February 2026 at the age of 87. His passing was mourned across Turkish football, with tributes coming especially from the MKE Ankaragücü and Eskişehirspor communities.
