Cansu Demirci — Biography

Cansu Demirci was born on April 25, 1992, in Istanbul. She finished secondary school at St. Georg Austrian High School in 2010 and trained in ballet, then went on to graduate from Yıldız Technical University's political science and international relations program in 2015 and completed a master's degree at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, in 2018. She first appeared on screen as a guest actress in "Sihirli Annem," and after childhood roles in productions such as "Sırlar Dünyası" and "Adanalı," gained wide recognition for playing Selin Aykar in the series "Selena." She also had a role in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film "Once Upon a Time in Anatolia."

Demirci stopped acting in 2014 and largely stayed out of the public eye afterward. Press reports said she married a foreign national named Filippo on September 1, 2024, a report that followed unfounded "is she dead" rumors that had circulated on social media in the same period.
