Cenk Özkaçar — Biography

Cenk Özkaçar was born on 6 October 2000 in the Konak district of İzmir. Standing 1.90 meters tall, he plays mainly as a centre-back, though he can also fill in at left-back, and has represented Turkey's senior national team.

He began his youth career at Bucaspor before moving through the youth ranks of Altınordu and Altay, signing his first professional contract with Altay in 2018. After a loan spell at Karacabey Belediyespor, his form in the second tier drew attention and he joined French club Olympique Lyonnais on a five-year deal. He spent a season on loan at Belgian side OH Leuven, then moved on loan to Spanish club Valencia, which later exercised its option to sign him permanently. Following a loan at Real Valladolid, he moved on loan to Germany's 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2025. In July 2026 he returned to Turkey, transferring from Valencia to Trabzonspor for a reported fee and signing a 3+1 year contract with the club.
