Cihan Özkara — Biography
Cihan Özkara was born on 14 July 1991 in Hamm, Germany, growing up with Turkish, Azerbaijani and German citizenship. Standing 1.89 m tall, the forward spent much of his club career in Germany's lower divisions, including a spell with Rot Weiss Ahlen, while also turning out in Turkey for Kayseri Erciyesspor and Sivasspor and in Azerbaijan for Simurq Zaqatala.
Internationally he chose to represent Azerbaijan, progressing from the under-21 side to the senior national team from 2012 onward, where he earned 18 caps and scored one goal.
