Cihan Topaloğlu — Biography

Cihan Topaloğlu (born 30 March 1992 in İzmir) is a Turkish football goalkeeper. He spent the early part of his career with clubs from his home city, appearing for Bucaspor 1928 and Altay, where he won back a place between the posts in May 2021 and had his contract extended later that same month.

He then became the first-choice goalkeeper at Sakaryaspor, described in the Turkish press as the club's star keeper, and extended his deal there in June 2023. At the end of June 2024 he posted a farewell message to Sakaryaspor's supporters.

A single report at the time claimed he had joined Amedspor, but in July 2024 several independent outlets reported that he had agreed terms with Ümraniyespor; the weight of the reporting supports the Ümraniyespor move.
