Cumali Akgül — Biography

Cumali Akgül was born on 19 April 1985 in Iğdır.

Dreaming of entering the world of television, Akgül applied to the Survivor competition many times but was never accepted. Refusing to give up, the hopeful contestant walked from Iğdır to İstanbul over the course of fifty days to draw attention; this effort caught the eye of Beyazıt Öztürk, and he was invited onto the programme where Acun Ilıcalı was a guest, earning his chance to join the competition.

He competed as part of the Volunteers team in Survivor 2018, produced by Acun Ilıcalı.
