Deniz Türüç — Biography

Deniz Türüç is a footballer, holding both Turkish and Dutch citizenship, who was born on 29 January 1993 in Enschede, the Netherlands. He started out at Enschedese Boys before passing through the youth ranks of FC Twente and De Graafschap, then joined Go Ahead Eagles, turning professional there in 2012; a play-off goal and several assists helped the club reach the Eredivisie, and he made his own Eredivisie appearances the following season.

In 2015 he moved to Süper Lig side Kayserispor for a transfer fee, and in his second season there set up two goals in an away match against Fenerbahçe. In 2019 he agreed to a three-year contract with Fenerbahçe itself, then, while on loan at İstanbul Başakşehir, scored against Manchester United in the Champions League before putting pen to paper on a longer deal with that club in 2021. He moved to Konyaspor in January 2026. Although he grew up in the Netherlands, Türüç is the son of Turkish parents and made his debut for the Turkey national team in a 2017 friendly against Moldova.
