Dennis Mims — Biography
Dennis Mims, born on 15 October 1980 in the United States, is a 2.06-meter basketball player who turned professional in 2002. He played college basketball at Virginia Tech before continuing his career in Europe with Tampereen Pyrintö in Finland's top division.
Mims later took Turkish citizenship and joined Beşiktaş Cola Turka for the 2008–09 season, during which he competed in tournaments such as the China Cup, the Eurocup, the Baltic Cup, the Asian Cup and the Balkan Cup. His time at Beşiktaş also drew attention when he was reported to have failed a doping control.
