Doğa Bekleriz — Biography

Doğa Bekleriz has worked in Turkey as a model, actress and television host since being born in Istanbul in the late 1970s. She entered modelling through beauty and fashion contests in the second half of the 1990s, gained wide recognition after appearing in a music video, and briefly worked as a hostess on a game show. Alongside modelling for well-known brands, she took supporting parts in the series Koçum Benim and 90-60-90, and appeared on screen in the films Yeşil Işık and Amerikalılar Karadeniz'de 2. Together with fellow models Nigar Talibova and Gizem Özdilli she also formed the singing group Adrenalin, and the trio ran a café in Ortaköy. A cosmetic procedure on her ears kept her in the tabloids for years and helped raise her public profile.

In her personal life, she divorced her husband Namık Güldeniz, then later married businessman Yusuf Berat Komşu, with whom she had a son named Yağız. She settled in Mersin after the marriage, where she now organizes fashion shows and works as a choreographer.
