Ecem Baltacı — Biography
Ecem Baltacı is a Turkish film, television and theatre actress born on July 25, 1994 in Istanbul. Having studied painting in high school, she graduated from the Plastic Arts Department of Yeditepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts, and trained in on-camera acting under Ayla Algan and in voice and breathing technique under İlknur Açıkel.
She made her screen debut playing Hanife in the FOX series O Hayat Benim during its 2015-2016 seasons, then took on the role of İdil in the FOX series Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz in 2016. Her profile rose further with Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, a widely watched Star TV series that began in 2017, in which she played Selin Egemen.
On screen she has also appeared in the feature film Yalnız Hayaller Kaldı, and alongside her television work she continues to perform in theatre. She built her name in Turkish television acting through a run of popular productions at a young age.
