Elif Güçkıran was born on December 31, 1990 in Ankara. She studied in the Physics Department of Ege University and turned to acting after graduation.

She had her first acting experience in 2016 with the feature film Elveda Hüzün, and soon began to take part in television projects.

In 2017 she joined the cast of the daily series Esaretim Sensin, broadcast on Fox TV, in which she gave life to the character Simay.
