Emir Halimić — Biography
Emir Halimić (born August 10, 1970, in Sarajevo, then part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) is a retired Bosnian basketball player standing 1.98 meters tall. A guard throughout his playing career, he represented clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, France, and Hungary, and wore the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team jersey at the 1993 EuroBasket.
After hanging up his sneakers, Halimić moved into coaching and has also led the Bosnia and Herzegovina women’s national basketball team.
