Engin Öztonga — Biography

Engin Öztonga is a retired Turkish footballer, 1.80 m tall, born on 10 August 1978 in the Kullar area of Kocaeli. A midfielder by position, he is a cousin of fellow footballer Mehmet Öztonga.

He played in the Süper Lig for Kocaelispor and Gaziantepspor, spending much of his career representing his hometown of Kocaeli, and later founded a football school under his own name.

Years after his active career ended, Öztonga has stayed close to the pitch: in the summer of 2026 he returned to amateur football, taking the field again alongside Haydar Koç wearing the Çubuklu jersey.
