Erdem Özgenç — Biography
Erdem Özgenç (born 22 August 1984 in Hendek, Sakarya) is a Turkish former footballer, a right back, who has since moved into club management. Wikidata records his height as 1.77 m.
According to the English Wikipedia he made his Süper Lig debut on 11 September 2011 and finished his playing career with 333 appearances and 23 goals. The Persian Wikipedia lists Boluspor, Kardemir Karabükspor, Kartalspor, Bursaspor and Fenerbahçe among his clubs, and the Ankara sports press refers to him as an Ankaragücü great.
After retiring he turned to sporting administration. In May 2026 he was appointed sporting director of Aliağa FK, and on 27 June 2026 — only 49 days into the job — the club announced that the two sides had parted ways, a story carried by DHA, NTV Spor and Sabah among others.
