Erkan Meriç — Biography

Erkan Meriç was born on July 26, 1986, in Adana. He studied in the Electronic Automation Department of Mersin University.

Before turning to acting, he spent five years as a professional goalkeeper and later worked for a time as a model, making his television debut in the 2014 series Beyaz Karanfil. After a role in the series Bedel, he played the character Ömer in Adını Sen Koy, which premiered on TRT in 2016 with Hazal Subaşı as his co-lead.

His relationship with co-star Yağmur Öztürk, which began on the set of the series Yazgı, led to their engagement in late 2025 and marriage in the spring of 2026. He has continued his acting career with new series projects such as Gayriresmi and Espiyonaj.
