Erkan Zengin — Biography
Born in the Kulu district of Konya but raised in Sweden after his family relocated there when he was young, Erkan Zengin is a Turkish-born Swedish footballer who plays as a left winger. Having started out in Swedish football, he spent a significant part of his career in Turkey, winning the league and cup double with Beşiktaş in 2009. He also turned out for clubs such as Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe and Adana Demirspor over the years.
Capped 21 times for the Sweden national team between 2013 and 2016, scoring three goals, Zengin represented his country at UEFA Euro 2016. Alongside his playing career, he has also taken on coaching duties, later serving as a player-manager at some of his clubs.
